Overview
Gym Log is a workout tracking app for Apple devices. This policy covers the app and this website. The app is designed to keep your workout data on your devices and, when available, in your private iCloud account. I do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Data the app stores
The app stores the workout information you create and the settings needed to run the app:
- Exercise data: exercise names, exercise type, recent values, and related notes or settings.
- Workout data: workout sessions, dates, sets, reps, weights, and completion history.
- Templates and preferences: planned workouts, exercise order, weight unit, and app settings.
Where data is stored
Workout data is stored locally on your device using Apple's app storage technologies. When iCloud is available for the app, the app may sync workout data through a private CloudKit database in your iCloud account. I do not operate a separate server that stores your workout log.
Analytics and advertising
Gym Log does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. I do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Data sharing
Data synced with iCloud is handled by Apple under your Apple ID and iCloud settings. I do not receive payment details or your workout history on my own servers.
Your choices
You can manage iCloud from your Apple ID settings. You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International users
If you are in a region with privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection, contact me using the email below to make a request.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL.
